Upgrading Local Roads

Upgrading Local Roads Main Image

I have always fought for our growing community to have the infrastructure we need, and I am proud to have delivered funding for major upgrades to roads, so you can spend less time in traffic, and more time with your family.

At the 2025 election, I secured $200 million dollars from the Albanese Government to widen Windsor Road in Rouse Hill, and another $20 million to plan for future upgrades along Old Windsor Road.

This $200 million investment has now been matched by the NSW Labor Government, who will begin construction on this vital upgrade in 2027.

For twelve years the former NSW Liberal Government forced our community to shoulder the growth of new housing while failing to deliver the critical infrastructure families need, but now our Labor team is getting on with the job.

On the back of funding I secured, the Albanese and Minns Labor Governments are delivering essential road upgrades across our community, including:

  • Upgrades to Richmond Road between Townson Road and the M7;
  • The duplication and future connection of Townson Road and Burdekin Road in Schofields;
  • Upgrades to Bandon Road; and
  • Upgrades to Garfield Road East and West.

There’s more to do, and I will keep fighting to deliver better roads across North West Sydney.
