MEDIA RELEASE - STRONGER COMMUNITIES GRANTS OPEN FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - 10 JULY 2017

A new round of community funding grants is now open for expressions of interest through the Stronger Communities Program. 

Grants from $2,500 to $20,000 are available and are required to be matched in monetary terms or in kind by local organisations.

Grants will be awarded to successful groups to fund equipment and/or infrastructure which will be of benefit to the local area.

Previous funding rounds delivered by Michelle Rowland MP have supported numerous local projects, including;

 

-       Refurbishment of Lalor Park Child Care Centre

 

-       Fencing and spectator seating at William Lawson Park, Prospect

 

-       Community garden upgrade at Grantham Heritage Park, Seven Hills

 

-       Installation of softfall playground surfacing at Glenwood Reserve

 

Local organisations are invited to submit preliminary proposals to Michelle Rowland MP.

Expressions of interest for this grant round can be made by emailing [email protected] or by mail to PO Box 868, Seven Hills 1730, by 4 August 2017 in order to meet the application timeframe.

Inclusion of supporting documentation, including project outline, plans, pricing lists and designs, would be appreciated.
